Our Carbon Clad® Classic Pan takes traditional carbon steel cookware to the next level with a 3-layered clad design. It delivers superior performance in a lightweight and versatile package by combining the stick-resistant properties of a carbon steel cooking surface, the even heating of aluminum, and the durability of a stainless steel exterior.
Carbon steel becomes more stick-resistant the more you cook. As seasoning builds, so does performance! Carbon steel can take some getting used to if you’re new to it. We provide an easy-start guide as well as a detailed carbon steel manual with everything you need to know. Patience is key, as it takes time and cooking to build up peak stick resistance.
If you already love traditional carbon steel and are looking for something lighter and even heating, the Carbon Clad® Classic pans are for you!

What Does “GEN 2” Mean?
GEN 2 introduces a few small refinements to the original Carbon Clad® design. We’ve adjusted the layer thicknesses, size, and shape to improve overall performance. The pans are now 3 mm thick instead of 2.8 mm, adding only a few ounces of weight while delivering higher performance.
It is still the same lightweight, responsive Carbon Clad® construction, thoughtfully refined using everything we’ve learned from the original design.
