At Strata, we’re a team of creative mechanical engineers, product designers, manufacturing specialists, and most importantly, passionate home cooks and carbon steel enthusiasts.

Our journey began  as a cooking enthusiasts looking for the perfect cookware. We wanted cookware that was coating-free, naturally nonstick, long-lasting, and most comfortable to use. When we couldn’t find it, we decided to make it ourselves.

Carbon steel cookware brings almost everything to the table. It’s reliable, durable, stick-resistant, and, most importantly, free from chemical coatings. The catch is that it’s often incredibly heavy, making it hard to lift and awkward to clean in the sink.

We set out to create the world’s FIRST carbon steel clad pan with an aluminum core, making it the lightest, most comfortable carbon steel pan ever made, without compromise.

The cookware industry is flooded with disposable, convenience-driven products that contribute to overconsumption and waste. Our pan is crafted to last a lifetime, without harmful chemicals and without compromise. It’s a reflection of our values as product designers and our love for cooking.
